The first thing Amplify Voices published was a conversation. Pete and I sat down with people whose thinking we wanted on the record, and the format held everything we had hoped it would. The catalog grew from there.

01

Conversations from the Heart

Hosted by Pete Carroll, co-hosted by Audrey Cavenecia. Launched in 2021 with Audacy’s Cadence13. Guests include Neil deGrasse Tyson, Rachel Maddow, Cory Booker, Van Jones, Glennon Doyle, and Abby Wambach. Every episode opens with the same question: what’s on your heart.

03

Guerilla Muse

With Resmaa Menakem, a trauma specialist who uses humor to keep people in conversations they would otherwise leave. Artists, athletes, comedians and scholars on how history shaped the present.

04

Possibilities Over Problems

With Sean Goode, executive director of CHOOSE 180. Young people who turned what happened to them into something other people can use. For teachers, parents, and students.

05

Let’s Talk White Guys

A six-episode limited series with Tony Schwartz of The Energy Project, Mike Robbins, and Jamie Winship, each of them a guest on another show here first. White men talking about white male privilege, and about racism and sexism, without handing the hard part of that conversation to anyone else.

06

Pocket Humanity

With Keith and Rodney. Divisive topics taken past the argument, looking for the ground both sides are already standing on.

Additional titles published by Amplify Voices have since been acquired and are no longer part of the list.

A campaign rather than a show, and worth its own line. It began when Pete used a press conference to talk about racism instead of football, and it was built and launched in under two days. Athletic coaches were challenged to register their teams and get them into the voting process, with local Black artists commissioned to paint Pete’s Nike Monarchs for the season and the shoes auctioned afterward for a nonprofit supporting diverse artists.
